At CN Wheel Rims (CNWR), engineered excellence and uncompromising safety are the foundations of our manufacturing process. Every wheel produced by CNWR undergoes rigorous JWL, VIA, and TUV standard testing before leaving our facility. We are proud to offer the following limited warranty to our global B2B partners, distributors, and direct buyers.
1. Lifetime Structural Warranty
CNWR warrants to the original purchaser that all our alloy wheels (whether cast, flow-formed, or forged) will be free from structural defects in material and workmanship under normal and intended use for the lifetime of the product.
- What is covered:Â Manufacturing defects such as casting porosity, structural cracks originating from the hub or spokes (not caused by impact), and leaks caused by factory material flaws.
- Requirement:Â This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
2. One-Year Finish Warranty
CNWR offers a 1-year limited warranty on all factory-applied surface finishes, including paint, clear coat, powder coat, and machining.
- What is covered:Â Peeling, severe cracking of the clear coat, and abnormal discoloration or fading of the finish under normal weather and driving conditions.
- Requirement:Â The wheels must be cleaned and maintained using only mild soap and water. Use of harsh chemicals or abrasive brushes will void this warranty.
3. Exclusions (What is NOT Covered)
To maintain our high standards and fair pricing, this warranty does not cover damage caused by external factors or user error. The warranty is void if the defect or damage is caused by:
- Road Hazards:Â Damage from potholes, curbs, road debris, or accidents (e.g., bent rims, cracked outer lips from impact).
- Improper Installation:Â Damage caused by improper tire mounting/dismounting, incorrect wheel balancing, using the wrong lug nuts/bolts, or over-torquing.
- Chemical Damage:Â Finish degradation caused by acidic wheel cleaners, abrasive polishes, road salt, or automatic car wash brushes.
- Modifications:Â Any wheels that have been altered, machined, welded, or repainted outside of the CNWR manufacturing facility.
- Extreme Use:Â Damage resulting from off-road driving, competitive racing, or track events (unless the specific forged model was exclusively designed and contracted for such use).
- Overloading:Â Installing wheels on vehicles that exceed the designated load rating of the wheel.
4. Special Note for OEM/ODM & Wholesale Partners
For our B2B clients engaging in customized OEM/ODM manufacturing, specific warranty terms, defect tolerance allowances, and batch replacement protocols may be outlined in your individual manufacturing contract. Please refer to your specific purchasing agreement for any terms that supersede this standard policy.
5. How to File a Warranty Claim
If you believe a wheel has a manufacturing defect, please follow these steps to initiate a claim:
- Stop Using the Wheel:Â Remove the affected wheel from the vehicle immediately for safety.
- Document the Issue:Â Take clear, well-lit photographs or videos of the defect, the entire front of the wheel, and the engraved batch/spec numbers on the back of the hub.
- Gather Documentation:Â Locate your original commercial invoice or proof of purchase.
- Submit Your Claim: Email your documentation to our support team at support@cnwheelrims.com.
Once received, our engineering and QC team will review the claim. If approved, CNWR will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective wheel. Please note that CNWR is not responsible for any secondary costs, including tire mounting, balancing, shipping, or loss of vehicle use.
