At CN Wheel Rims (CNWR), we are committed to building long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships with our global B2B clients. Because our business model focuses on wholesale, bulk manufacturing, and OEM/ODM services, our return and claim policies are structured strictly around commercial international trade standards.

1. General B2B Return Policy

Due to the nature of bulk manufacturing and international logistics, we do not accept returns for “buyer’s remorse” or changes of mind. All sales are considered final once the commercial invoice (PI) is signed and production or shipment has commenced. Claims are only accepted under specific conditions outlined below.

2. Acceptable Grounds for a Claim

We will process a claim or authorize a resolution if your order falls into one of the following categories:

  • Manufacturing Defects: The wheels fail to meet our promised structural or finish quality standards (Please refer to our full Limited Warranty Policy for detailed coverage).
  • Order Discrepancies: The products received do not match the specifications (e.g., wrong size, PCD, offset, or finish) detailed in your final Commercial Invoice.
  • Shortages: The quantity of wheels received is less than the quantity billed on the packing list and invoice.

3. Shipping Damages & Incoterms

Liability for goods damaged during transit is strictly determined by the Incoterms agreed upon in your commercial contract (e.g., FOB Ningbo, CIF, DDP):

  • FOB / EXW: CNWR’s liability ends once the goods are loaded onto the vessel or handed to your forwarder. Claims for transit damage must be filed directly with your freight forwarder or marine insurance provider.
  • CIF / DDP: If CNWR handles the insurance and final delivery, you must report the damage to us immediately.
Crucial for CIF/DDP: You must document any visible damage to the container or pallets before and during unloading, and clearly note the damage on the delivery receipt (Bill of Lading) before signing.

4. Custom & OEM/ODM Orders

Wheels manufactured under customized OEM/ODM contracts—including bespoke designs, custom molds, specific load ratings, or exclusive finishes—are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable.

In the rare event of a manufacturing deviation from the mutually signed and approved 2D/3D technical drawings, CNWR will remanufacture the affected batch or issue a credit note, subject to our engineering review.

5. Claim Timeframes

To ensure a swift investigation, all claims must be submitted strictly within the following deadlines:

  • Shortages / Order Discrepancies: Within 14 days of the container arriving at the destination facility.
  • Visible Shipping Damage (CIF/DDP only): Within 7 days of delivery.
  • Manufacturing Defects: Governed by our Limited Warranty Policy (Lifetime for structure, 1-year for finish).

6. Standard Resolution Methods

Because returning heavy auto parts internationally is cost-prohibitive, physical returns to our China facility are rarely required. Upon approval of a valid claim, CNWR will resolve the issue through one of the following B2B methods (at our discretion):

  1. Credit Note: A financial credit applied to your company’s account, automatically deducted from your next bulk order.
  2. Replacement in Next Container: Supplying the replacement wheels free of charge, shipped together with your next scheduled container.
  3. Remanufacturing: Expediting a replacement batch for critical OEM shortages.

7. How to File a Claim

To file a formal claim, please collect the necessary evidence to help our QC team expedite the process:

  1. Gather Documentation: Your Commercial Invoice (PI), Bill of Lading (B/L), and Packing List.
  2. Take Evidence: Clear photographs/videos of the defect, damage, or discrepancy, including the batch numbers engraved on the back of the wheel.
  3. Submit: Fill out our online Warranty & Claim Form or email the complete documentation directly to our support team.
